New Delhi: Today Ayushmann Khurrana is counted among the big stars, but he has worked hard to reach here. He had to struggle a lot in his early days in Bollywood. Ayushman is followed by millions of youth today, but there was a phase in his life too, when he wanted to get away from all these things. He was so fed up with people’s criticisms and failures that he made up his mind to leave Bollywood.
Now the actor has talked about his bad phase. He told that if he did not act, then what profession would he adopt. Ayushmann said in Arbaaz Khan’s chat show, ‘When my films were flopping, people wanted me to pack my belongings and go back to Chandigarh. Everyone used to say that acting is not my thing.
Ayushmann gave three flops after the film ‘Vicky Donor’. The actor had made up his mind to go back after giving three flops. He says, ‘I had thought of dancing and singing in birthday parties.’ The actor further said, ‘When my films were flopping, I had a lot of time. I had to do something or the other, so I made up my mind to write a book. After all, the time came in Ayushmann’s life, which he was eagerly waiting for. He made a strong comeback in 2015 with the film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. After this, he gave many consecutive hits, including films like ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, ‘Andhadhun’.

Today Ayushmann has so much work that he hardly finds time for any other work. The actor has also written his autobiography. The name of the book is- ‘Cracking the Code: My Journey in Bollywood’. He will soon be seen romancing Vaani Kapoor in the film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’. Apart from this, he is also working in the films ‘Doctor Ji’ and ‘Anek’.
