According to researchers from the University of Washington, such antibodies have been discovered in people who have defeated Corona, which is capable of fighting the variant in every way. In the recent past, new variants of Corona have worried the whole world. The Delta variant has wreaked havoc in India. This variant caused havoc in the second wave in the country. At the same time, there is also a threat regarding the Delta Plus variant. But amidst the increasing danger from all these variants of corona, scientists have claimed to have got a super vaccine formula.
The study, published in the journal Science, describes research on five human monoclonal antibodies. This was found to be effective on the beta variant.
During this, the researchers examined specific memory B cells in people who had recovered from the corona.
What is ‘Memory B’?
Actually memory B are white blood cells. It detects and responds to any virus that has already attacked your body.
Scientists focused on S2P6 out of five antibodies found in people who had defeated Corona. Its molecular structure analysis and functional studies showed that this monoclonal antibody had impressive diversity.
Also, it can neutralize three different variants of beta virus of corona.
The scientists also observed that S2P6 did this by inhibiting the virus’s ability to bind to cell membranes.
These antibodies target a structure called the stem helix in the spike protein of these viruses.
Explain that the spike protein is important for the virus’s ability to take over cells.

This is spike protein
The virus protein is released from the thorn-like part on the outer surface of the corona virus. This is called a spike protein.
Infection begins with this protein. It also enters the human body from touching, through the nose and other holes.
It reaches the lungs directly by binding to the human enzyme ACE2 receptor. Then increasing the number makes the infection serious.
