PM Modi said that due to the division of families, the land of farmers is getting smaller, 80 percent of the farmers in the country are those who have less than two hectares of land. The focus that should have been on small farmers has remained. Agricultural reforms are a step in this direction. Efforts like raising MSP one and a half times, Kisan Credit Card, Farmer Producer Organization will increase the power of small farmers. Godowns will be built up to small areas. 10 crore families are being given help from PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
PM Modi said that we are not dependent on any other country for the corona vaccine. What would have happened if India did not have its own vaccine? It took a lot of effort to get the polio vaccine. The world’s largest vaccination program is going on in the country. More than 54 crore vaccine doses have been administered. He also appreciated the Kovin program. At the time of corona epidemic, 80 crore people were given free food grains and kept the stoves of their homes lit.
There are fewer infected in India than in other parts of the world. We have been able to save more civilians. But it is not a matter of pat on the back. This is to say that Corona was not a challenge, it will become a system that closes the paths ahead of us. PM Modi mentioned those orphaned children, from whose heads the shadow of parents rose during Corona.
That time has also come in India’s development journey. Not only do we have to let the 75 years of independence of the country go away, but we have to make resolution goals for the next 25 years. So that we reach new heights by the centenary year of independence. For this the goal of this Amrit Kaal is that which is not going to divide villages and cities. To create a new infrastructure for development in the country.
PM Modi said, Amrit Kaal is of 25 years, but we do not have to wait for the achievement of our goals. We don’t have a moment to lose, the time is right. We also have to change ourselves as a citizen.
PM Modi also gave the slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas with Sabka Prayas. He said that without the efforts of the citizens of the country i.e. everyone, this effort would be incomplete.
PM Modi said that soon rail lines will be laid to every region of the Northeast, due to which it will connect with Bangladesh, Myanmar and other neighboring countries. PM Modi said that the work of delimitation is going on in Jammu and Kashmir, soon the way for the assembly elections there will also be paved. University work has also been started in Ladakh.
PM Modi said, there is definitely a discussion of capitalism, socialism in the country, but there should definitely be a discussion of co-operative. Cooperation is a way of collective effort and for this a separate Ministry of Cooperation has been created, so that the bottlenecks are removed.
