Several countries, including Germany, Turkey, Qatar and India, have also called for an immediate end to the ongoing violence and attacks in Afghanistan.

Two separate meetings were also held in Doha regarding the current situation in Afghanistan. After these meetings, the countries involved in the meeting issued a statement that this is a very important issue and there is a need to accelerate the Afghan peace process immediately.

All the countries participating in the meeting urged the Taliban and the Afghan government to restore peace, and to build mutual trust and find a political solution to the problem so that a ceasefire can be reached at the earliest.
