Good news for Indian IT professionals, the matter is related to US H-1B visa. USCIS did second draw for selection of registration Indians will get one more chance to get US H-1B visa

Washington: There is good news for Indian professionals from America. The US has decided to give one more chance to select some of the people applying for H-1B visas. For this, America has organized a lottery process for the second time. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced this. This will give yet another chance to hundreds of Indian IT professionals who could not get this visa in the first lottery.

The highest demand for this non-immigrant visa remains in Indian IT Professionals only. This visa allows US companies to hire foreign workers for jobs that require specialized technical expertise.

Process will start from 2nd August

USCIS has said, ‘We have recently decided that we need to select a few more registries to reach a sufficient number for fiscal year 2022. For this we have randomly selected some of the registrations already submitted on 28th July. Now on the basis of these selected registrations, the time for filing petitions will be from 2nd August to 3rd November. Individuals with selected registrations will be updated their myUSCIS accounts to be included in the selection notice. Along with this, other information will also be included in it.

USCIS has mandated that H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed at the correct service center within the correct time frame. Along with this, USCIS has told that online filing for H-1B petition is not available. Therefore, applicants should also attach the printed copy of the Registration Selection Notice along with the petition.

USCIS further said, “Select registration only states that applicants can file an H-1B cap-subject petition, nor does it state that their petition will be approved.”
