Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday conducted an aerial survey of the flood affected areas of Auraiya and Etawah districts and met the flood affected. He distributed relief materials among the affected. According to the official statement released on Monday, the Chief Minister reviewed the flood and disaster relief works by holding a meeting with public representatives and officials in the Collectorate Auditorium. He inquired about the disaster relief work in the district. The Chief Minister distributed ration kits to 26 families including the flood affected Munni Devi, Asha Devi, Samta Devi, Vinita, Devendra Kumar, Ankur, Ramji, Subhash Chandra. He interacted with the flood affected people. He said that relief work is being done continuously by the administration. He assured the people that all possible relief and help would be provided by the government to all the affected.

The Chief Minister said, “Two ministers of the state are continuously inspecting the relief and rescue operations in the flood affected areas. There is a provision to provide financial assistance of Rs.4 lakh to each person in case of loss of life due to calamity. Go. The state government was already monitoring the situation arising out of floods in other districts including Etawah Auraiya due to release of water in the river. Giving instructions to expedite the relief and rescue operations, the Chief Minister said that now the water level of the rivers has started falling, in such a situation, all the officials, public representatives should expedite the rehabilitation, relief and rescue operations in the flood affected areas.
