Raised in a simple family, Damani is now ranked 98th in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of $19.2 billion. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index is a daily ranking of the world’s richest people. Other Indians already included in this index are Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Azim Premji, Pallonji Mistry, Shiv Nadar and Lakshmi Mittal.

Damani grew up in a one room apartment

Billionaire Radhakishan Damani is the owner of the retail chain D-Mart.
