Five NCB employees have been injured in this attack, out of which one employee has suffered serious injuries. NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede told NayaTez that, when the NCB team reached Mankhurd on Thursday night after receiving information about the foreign drug mafia, there was a secluded place in the sea, there was a gulf area and there were bushes. There the drug mafia suddenly attacked the team. Some had sharp weapons in their hands and some had taken stones. During that clash, 5 employees were injured.
Sameer Wankhede told that despite this the NCB team was able to seize heroin, cocaine and mephedrone drugs worth more than one crore and catch a foreign drugs mafia. According to the NCB, after the local drug mafia was caught, foreign drug mafia in Mumbai and surrounding areas are engaged in filling their shortage. NCB is trying to break this trap of them, so getting discouraged, they have started attacking the NCB team as well. This is the third attack on the NCB team by foreign drug suppliers in a month.
