Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan’s film Bhuj Do Pride of India, who has acted with his eyes, has been released on the OTT platform. Along with this, he is working on many more projects through which he is also going to make a digital debut, out of which one of his projects is named Rudra the Age of Darkness. At the same time, Ajay Devgan has been seen keeping his point of view regarding the regulation of digital platforms. Ajay Devgan says that the more discounts will be given on the OTT platform, the more illegitimate benefits will be taken.

Ajay Devgan believes that regulation is absolutely needed in the digital world as people are taking advantage in the name of complete freedom. Significantly, the central government had issued an order regarding the rules and regulation of OTT platform, digital news media, along with it had also said about making their details public and putting in place a grievance redressal system.

Ajay Devgan said that this is an era where it is a matter of concern and there is a great need for regulation at this point. Rules and regulation have to be implemented to an extent but it does not mean that we should go back, just the system should be right. The fear is not of the rules but of what the rules will be.

Ajay further says that if we do not regulate it then it will be misused. Four people take wrong advantage and the entire industry is in disrepute. On the other hand, if it is not regulated then people will start putting porn on it, so rules and regulation is necessary, so that a time limit should be fixed and a decision should be taken accordingly.

Let us tell you that on February last, former Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar had a conversation with representatives of Hotstar, Netflix, Balaji, Jio, Zee5, Max Player and other OTT platforms, in which the former minister said that the government has taken the issue of OTT. There is a lot of emphasis on self-regulation. Speaking on this, Ajay Devgan said that the purpose of these regulations will be to check any non-essential content, but it is important to have more clarity on what kind of things cannot be put online, otherwise things can become problematic.
